Title: Hello Everyone!
Post by: NoFearNoLimits on August 09, 2008, 11:05:12 PM
My name is Rudy, and i'm from Texas.  I was raised catholic, and was forced to believe that until I realized it was all bs.  My whole family, and pretty much everyone I know is religious.

So i'm constantly hearing all the religious talk and praying, and it makes me cringe  :brick: .  Saw this website when I was searching for some Atheist music, and it seems like a cool site.

Welcome!

It's amazing how so many people are willing to waste so much of their lives on prayers and worshipping a superstition, is it not..?

Yes it is amazing, I feel sorry for them.  Whenever I would ask my parents serious questions on how to deal with things alot of the time they would say to pray, ask god for help.

It's kind of pathetic, I respect them in every way possible except when it comes to their beliefs.  I would have realized all along that you can find all the strength you need from yourself and family and friends if I wasn't forced into their religion.  Oh well, at least i'm not trapped in imaginary land anymore  :P

KKK let's Catholics in now.John Safran (Jewish) was the guy who tried to become a member.Of course it was for tv..but when talking to the Imperial wizard he said that catholics can now be members. Also if your father is jewish but your mother is christian or catholic you can join.Apparently only jewish mothers pass down the "sin" of being jewish.

Hello! You're looking for atheist music? One of my favorites songs is "Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe" by Streetlight Manifesto which is about atheism, I believe, or agnosticism at the very least.
