Demonising or promoting any side is pure theater to get audience attention, involvement and justification for these theatrical shit shows.
It seems to me to be very important that the ordinary taxpayer foots the bill so that the military industrial complex profits.....Handsomely.

Costa Rica does not even have an army. They have police departments though. There, The Costa Ricans pay taxes that support municipal functions like fire departments, schools, and health care and several other things.

No, it is pretty far-fetched as assumptions go, and far too simplistic an analysis of geopolitical goings-on besides.

It ranges from "cheering for a team" to rallying support to recruiting front-line combatants. It's not "pure theatre" - it has purposes beyond entertaining the audience.

Yeah. Just as the same tax payer foots the bill such that the asphalt layer and the transformer station builder profit handsomely. Everyone has profit margins. Sometimes they widen, other times they shrink. At the end of the day, it's the individual consumer who also pays that bill.
