Here is an article of perhaps casual interest. Pupil size is an indicator of ones potential intelligence and reasoning capacity.....really?
Back in time, phrenology, the study of a persons skull shape, nose size, hair color, etc, was thought to be an indication of mental capacity, criminal propensities, and a few other characteristics.

Useful, them pupils. Can also say something about shroomin' and other drugs, an stroke or like... That a person is a youngster in a old-fashioned British school. :smilenod:
As for eyeballs............Routine Eye exam discovered that I have a semi treatable case of Macular Degeneration in one of my ancient eyes. On consulting an M.D specialist I learned that the problem can be delayed by sticking a needle into my eyeball every successive month for a while. He did stick the needle into the affected eye. Oh Joy.
Some pain the first day but it has subsided now on the second day. I gotta go back next month for another eyeball jab. ...and onward. Better than going partially blind I think. And yes, the bourbon and tonic was somewhat therapeutic.
what kind of bourbon?

:o Sheeit! Better render me unconscious, you try that on me! I have macular degeneration, but nobody has mentioned stabbing me in the eyeball as a cure, or delay of blindness! I don't think that it is progressive, but a result of my pyrotechnic activities in my youth leaving permanent damage.
The wonders of modern medicine.
