Hello,
I'm Ed. I keep weaving from agnostic to atheist to humanist and back again. My ideologies remain rather pendulous. Anyway, I saw this board and thought it could keep that momentum swinging. The nebulous nature of a supreme being (or "thing" or most likely "nothing") has always fascinated me, and so I read widely on science, philosophy and religion. But what fascinates me more is how people can live and make society work without the knowledge that no big deity is looking after us. Some people are sensitive about that - so I've found...
Anyway, I leave you with that most dignified of communicative mediums, the cartoon (http://www.getmilked.com/comics/LifesLittleInstructionBookForChristians.html).
