Finally! I failed the first time because of a pedestrian, but I passed this time! And I only missed 2 points!

So... killing a pedestrian is an automatic fail?
Congratulations on the license! Glad to hear you passed and stayed off of the sidewalks this time.

You didn't hit the pedestrian did you?

Congrats.Oh sweet freedom.
Thank you!
curiosityandthecat and afreethinker30 don't worry! I didn't hit the person. It was in the parking lot on the way back, ten feet from my ending parking spot. I thought I was home-free, so when this lady started to cross, it didn't enter my mine to stop (dumb) and the instructor had to tell me to stop (automatic fail)
It sucked but I actually deserved it.
Congrats
I failed my first time because i parallel parked in front of a mailbox....she told me to park there. I wasn't very happy.
I failed my first time. It's a family curse. My parents also failed their first driver's tests.

I'm guessing it was a squirrel that caused you to fail
your driving test?

What a scam!

Wow, I have some friends with that curse. I broke my family's perfect streak...

Ha very funny
My mom failed the written test a couple of times. I don't know about my dad. He wasn't allowed to drive until the 1980s because he's epileptic, and he hasn't ever mentioned his testing. My sister had to take the written like 4 times. I passed both on my first try

When I was 16 I took drivers ed. but failed because I got into it with the teacher. He was a jerk.
Would it make me an ass if I said I passed both the written and driving tests 100% the first time?

Oh wow, what happened?

EDIT: I'm over it, good job! Me and my friends were actually wondering if it were possible to get 100% on the driving test. Here in Cali, they are so nit-picky.

100%? Nice one. I think I got 90% on the written and 92% on the driving test. Eight years later, I still have no tickets and no accidents, knock on wood!

Yeah, I thought so. :D
It's not really fair, though. I took the tests when I was 17 and had been driving for nearly three years at that point. The whole thing was a joke. I even asked the cop (our driving test proctors are police) if he minded if I let the wheel "slide"... he seemed taken aback, but was cool with it. I think he just wanted to go to lunch. :D

He kept telling me to speed up on a main road here..it wasnt a highway and I was afraid to hit someone (it was my second time driving). So I said whatever to him and I guess he didn't like me much after that.Plus I made a comment about his drinking problem.

Wow, you're bold. Kudos.
Congrats... but only because I don't get many loads out that way
