Good morning, all. I'm Dickson, a 29 year-old English teacher from the southern U.S. I identify myself as a Christian, but hang on: I'm not one of those dickhead evangelical turds. I love Jesus, no doubt about it, but I think lots of folks get him wrong. I'm not here to change anyone's soul--I just like conversation about religion.
When I'm not posting on Internet forums, I spend time writing poetry, reading, hiking, and drinking good beer (no Miller Lite). I'm also a competent cook and, ironically, a bad speller.

Welcome. I'm from the South as well (South Carolina), an English (among other subjects) teacher of over 26 years now, and glad to hear you're not "one of those dickhead evangelical turds".

i love having debates with people of all sorts of opinions, so looking forward to discussing stuff with you.
