Title: DO try this st home.
Post by: Dave on June 21, 2018, 10:03:02 PM
If you have an outside light that attracts moths sneak up on them and rattle a bunch of keys. See what happens.
The jangling of the keys produces short ultrasound chirps similar to those of bats. Seems that some moths take immediate evasive action, flying loops, sudden turns or simply folding their wings and dropping to the ground. Those that never evolved these tricks are called "food".
