Seconded! or Thirded, as the case might be.
Damn, that's sad. He was bloody funny.
I'm sure the fundies will be saying the devil took him though....
George, we'll miss you, man! You are now officially, worm dirt. No heaven or hell for you, just no more you, period.
Another toast to the man!
Cheers, George. You made us laugh, and you made a point.

So sad, but he certainly made his dent in the world. He will be greatly missed. My conservative mom even thinks it's sad. I wonder what my dad would say....
A sad loss. I can remember George Carlin for as long as I can remember watching comedians.
Here is one of his more famous atheist quotes:
Quote from: "George Carlin"Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

Here, here - to one of our own.
Thank you, George Carlin. You will be sorely missed!

I have always been a Carlin fan, from as far back as I can remember. He shaped my sense of humor and my outlook on the world. I saw him live in high school and (with the help of some opium) I laughed until my hands were numb.
When I learned of his death I was checking out of my hotel at the end of my vacation. I had a lot of time to think on the plane about George and the way he affected me. He was my beacon of reason in a time mired in, to use his word, bullshit.
Here's a little collection of some of my favorite George moments. Ahem, rough estimate of SFW videos: zero.
Thank you, George.
