They have a ton of many-armed gods in India as far as I know... I wonder which one is the father :D

haha funny XD
btw is it me or are all those "strange" births happening in india and the eastern world?
this girl, the child with a tail, the three monkey-like brothers...
or maybe the ones in the western world dont draw as much attention
I wonder why...

No many-armed, many-headed Hindu gods to secretly impregnate women?
When I first saw this I thought, "Again?"
This is an old story. Her name is Lakshmi, after the many-armed Hindu God.
Not only has she already had the extra limbs removed, she's already learned to walk with the new ones.

*shivers* I'm hugely arachnophobia, so when I first saw her it totally freaked me out. So pathetic....
You think her parents would rule out surgery.I know it would be a awful way to live but with their living conditions there. And those thinking she is a Goddess.I'm sure she would be able to live a very cush life.Think of all the offerings and I sure she would be given a nice place to live. Can't have a Goddess living in filth.

But can you imagine living a life hardly being able to walk and having people constantly worshiping and just plain gawking at you? On the full segment on TV it showed the little girl crying when people crowded around her. Her mother said she hated it. They couldn't get the people to leave.

Her village is a craphole. Any benefits of her divinity would consist of extra allowances to use the village washtub.
Meanwhile back on planet Earth, her extra limbs were actually a malformed conjoined twin, and it needed to be removed or else it would cut her life short.

I was being sarcastic.

The world in most part is voyeur. You can't watch tv,pick up a magazine or read a book without looking into someone else's life.Even after having surgery for something like that she will still have to live with cameras.Atleast for a little while.

Whew, you had me going there for awhile. But I get what you're saying. It's pretty pathetic really. Our lives aren't good enough so we snoop into others'. Lakshmi's family moved far away from their old village to get away from some of the attention. I hope it worked.

I tend to forget most people don't know about my odd sense of humor. These people really need better education. But the child could also look at this as a good thing to.Yes it would be awful to have people gawk and I'm sure make comments. But she is helping other people with deformities.I guess you could say she is teaching us a lesson and a damn good one to.

Talking online sort of distorts tones of sarcasm, normally I'm not so slow! Do you mean if she didn't have the surgery?

Well it could be either way.I'm sure children that see the show see that even though she may look different she is just like everyone else. And with the surgery how anyone can conquer fear.Plus just a lesson in how it's not nice to stare, that it does hurt.

I see what your saying. Good points.
