Okay, it's only important to me but still...
I wanted to let everyone know that I've completed writing my first book and had it published independently on Amazon. It's been out for a couple of months and I wanted to get a few reviews on it before I started marketing it more aggressively. I've gotten enough now to start promoting it so for those avid readers out there, there's a terrific new book out for you to read.
You can check out its Amazon landing page here - https://www.amazon.com/Wish-Upon-Star-Scott-MacDonald/dp/1539657736/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1479004165&sr=8-7&keywords=to+wish+upon+a+star (https://www.amazon.com/Wish-Upon-Star-Scott-MacDonald/dp/1539657736/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1479004165&sr=8-7&keywords=to+wish+upon+a+star)
I'm thrilled with the reviews I've been getting but I'm greedy and need lots more. So if you do decide to read it, and especially if you enjoyed it, do me a favor and post a review on its landing page by scrolling down to the reader review section or just click the reviews link at the top of the page next to the cover image. At the very least, click the link and give it a look. The synopsis and the reviews may intrigue you.
Thanks for checking it out. :)
Way to go MB. The reviews are all positive. Could it be that we have literary talent within our heathenous midst?
It's possible. I did a pretty terrific job if I do say so myself.
Well done MB. If you don't mind, I'll order the book at Amazon, because the story sounds very interesting.

I don't mind at all. Do me a favor, if you like it, share the link with your friends on Facebook. I need all the promotion I can get. That goes for anyone who reads it.
I also recommend to anyone interested to get the paperback over the e-book. The paperback is how I meant for it to be seen with the flourishes and illustrations. The e-book has none of that, just plain old text.
The description makes the book sound great. I really like where you went with it. Kind of where I wanted to go with my story.

I feel pretty confident that I did a good job taking into account the positive early reviews my beta readers gave it while I was still writing it and now what paying customers are saying about the finished story.
It looks like a fun book, MadBomr. Best of luck!

I've ordered the paperback at Amazon today. Shipment to Germany should take 9-14 days. I'm really looking forward to read it.
I ordered a copy too! I should get it by Saturday, so Ill read it as fast as I can and then do a review... Can't wait to get started! :D
Awesome! My first international sale(s)! I hope you guys enjoy it and, if so, post those reviews and please share with your friends on FB, or Twitter, or wherever. :)
Congratulations on the book, and I wish you as much success as you can handle,...I'm interested in reading, but I've got one or two christmas presents that I received (Books) which I really need to read first as my son keeps asking if I've started one he gave me; so I think I'll wait and see how some of the other forum members here who've ordered the book like it.
So Tom and Dragon we'll be expecting some follow up reviews once you've read "To Wish Upon a Star".
(I was thinking of waiting to see it when it comes out as a movie, but I've always preferred to read a book first if possible before watching it on the big screen) 8)
Fair enough, Father.
Wow. I haven't called anyone that since I was a catholic. Looooong time ago.
I will definitely come give my review here also! ;)
