Some Mexican ladies tell me that when you're angry and you roast and peel Jalapeños to make salsa, you will transfer all your "anger" to the chile and the sauce will turn out extremely hot.

I've heard it helps if your mouth is on fire, but I don't know if washing your hands with milk helps to get rid of the burning sensation.
