Why do rodents want want our wires? It can't taste that good and wouldn't make comfortable bedding.
Asmo suicide rodent failure?
During the battle of Stalingrad, mice gnawed the wiring of a large number of German tanks and put them out of action.

Because their teeth grow continuously they have a chewing instinct to wear them down. They will chew ANYTHING, wires tend to be the right size for them to get their teeth into.
That weasel!
Talk about weaseling your way out of work
All together now - one, two, three:
Weasel overcome, weasel overcome, weasel overcome some day ...
Pop goes the weasel!
