Arizona Woman Shoots And Kills Atheist For Not Believing In God (http://www.patheos.com/blogs/progressivesecularhumanist/2015/12/arizona-woman-shoots-and-kills-atheist-for-not-believing-in-god/)

QuoteA woman in Phoenix is under arrest after telling police she shot and killed an atheist for not believing in God.

The Phoenix Police Department reports that 39-year-old Anitra Braxton has been charged with murder after police found the body of a woman on her couch inside her apartment on December 26.

Oh joy!

I think it's a given she's going to get off on an insanity plea.

Apparently the answer to WWJD is pop a cap in her ass.

In her eye, actually.  She then kept the body on her couch as a shrine to god, hence my certainty about the insanity plea.

Oh she's undoubtedly a fruit cake of the first order. But without the focus of a religion would she have had a 'justification' or motivation for what she did? Quite possibly not. This is where the amplification effect of religion comes into play. I have over the years come to see good people exploit religion and bad people exploit religion to boost their own world view.
