A ring from King Hezekiah (8th Century BCE) has been discovered. This seems to confirm (at least somewhat) a biblical figure.

Very interesting. I wasn't aware that the Hebrews ever used the winged sun symbol, not to mention the ankh.
Pity it will get used for political and theocratic ideology.

That is probably reflective of the fact that the Hebrews of Hezekiah's day were influenced by the non-Hebrew cultures around them. Egypt and Assyria were much more powerful, and Hez was part of that world. The biblical account of him is a gloss, but he did exist. We can't really say "the Bible is all true" or "the Bible is all false". It's a mixed bag, like everything else in life.
It's amazing, isn't it? History, geography, archeology, science, art, religion, and so much more all together.

I first read about the Creation Museum in a London newspaper during the Urchin Occupation of 2009. Let's just say that in a country with currency graced by Darwin, the idea didn't go over so well. So on Sunday (naturally) 12 September, we put on our best straight faces, left our t-shirts emblazoned with evolution puns at home, and drove through the dinosaur flanked gates to enter the Creation Museum.
We did well at first. We discretely took pictures of a young mannequin cave girl playing with a dinosaur. We politely declined having our picture taken to raise funds for the museum. And then we got to this:
