Title: Either Google News is making a statement, or...
Post by: curiosityandthecat on May 28, 2008, 07:16:51 PM
...this just a simple case of a misplaced news item Here's a screenshot I took of news.google.com this morning:

Any reason this would be in the Entertainment section?   :raised:

That is a hoot!  It's probably under Entertainment because the bot saw recording and video, and by those words, it belongs in Entertainment?   :D

I love it when things like this happen. It sort of reminds me of the time when a friend of a friend of mine hacked MapQuest and made it say "swim across the Atlantic ocean" when you ask for directions from New York City to London. I think they've fixed it by now, but it was the talk of my science class for awhile last year.

I remember that... except it was Google maps when I saw it. I hate to be a skeptic (wait, I love being a skeptic, hah) but I doubt he actually did it. ;) On the off chance he did, he's got a great career ahead of him working for the government!
