Title: Re: That Awkward Dream
Post by: xSilverPhinx on December 26, 2014, 07:42:10 PM
I've been spending a lot of time waiting in lines to see tourist attractions these past few days so I was hardly surprised when I dreamt I was waiting in line as well. In my dream I started to dance enthusiastically for no reason at all and accidentally kicked an old lady behind me. When I turned to apologize the old lady was there. I faced forward again to ask for a walking stick and when I turned the old lady had disappeared without a trace and everyone was looking for her, confused. I felt really confused at her disappearance. I haven't felt like that in a long time.

I'm going to resurrect this thread...

I just had one of those wtf dreams, in which I was reading a book and was given some chicken fingers which morphed into hostile human size zombie fingers. If indigestion could look like a dream, this would probably be it.  :-\
And Gerry couldn't get his head around how dreams shaped out ancestors world view.

I'll bet he can't.

About dreams in general: here are the results of a BBC survey in 2014. Interesting but I found a few things a tad confusing.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/reports/archive/science_nature/dreams_survey.shtml

The "All in the mind" prog mentioned a survey into sleep paralysis, which I think I suffered in the months befire my heart sttack, but I can't find it on their home page, as ptomised.
