Hi, this seems like a pretty relaxed and logical place, and you guys have a sense of humour which is so nice these days. I've been very fond of Pharyngula in the past because of the biology slant, but it's a little angry at times so this seems better. I never was much of an atheist activist, and was always open to learning about new religions and testing new ideas because I've always though that outside of reality anything's possible, but I still prefer reality. Recently though being around a really religious community that really believes in the promotion of religion through government and schools has made me really need to seek out a like-minded community. I really appreciate religioius diversity and freedom as well as the freedom from religion.

I think a lot of folk are getting the idea to divide there time so when one forum tanks it won't be the end of the world.

I like it here.
I dont think it is so much of being an activist. Activists just convince people. Convincing people does jack shit to change them at the core. Thats all religion is.
