Title: Management issues at the Vatican
Post by: Firebird on May 30, 2012, 03:58:11 PM
Vatican scandals lift lid on secret power struggle (http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/29/vatican-scandals-lift-lid-on-secret-power-struggle/?hpt=hp_c1)

Looks like some issues in upper management. Funny how a religious organization who supposedly relies on god for advice try to stab each other in the back for influence. Guess they don't trust His guidance very much:
I especially liked this line:

QuoteReese isn't taking a position on where the next pope should be from, but he has strong views on what Benedict's successor should do: "The place really needs to be restructured and reorganized. It still operates in many ways like a 19th century European court."

Probably because you have been around long enough to know that pettiness , back bitting, scandal mongering and that all time classic the information leak ( the more embarrassing the better )  are the first tools of choice in any politics battle.

Exactly.  And if god really took care of his church, the buildings wouldn't need lightning conductors.
