Today is National Record Store Day (usa) a day to celebrate the awesomeness and music brought to you from your local independent record stores. So check out things in your area and support local businesses. Many shops are hosting free shows from great bands, and good bargains too. So get out and about and see what's going down.

For anyone in dallas, CD Source on Greenville is having a Record Store Day celebration and is owned and operated by a freethinker.

I saw Owl City in concert on Saturday. Sadly, 95% of the audience probably didn't even know what a record was. It's ok though because the remaining 5% accounted for 100% of the alcohol sales.
