I don't know about "worst" though. Yeah, it's among the most boring and least inspired, but I have seen a movie or two where the title should have been "Nothing important happens for the next two hours" and "Even less of note happens for the next two hours the sequel" to reserve such judgement.

I think Hollywood is pretty "done" in its current form. Their overpriced, but otherwise lacking productions can barely compete for popularity with indies and streaming service originals. The hunt fior that mythical vast and cinema-going woke audience pretty much killed Disney. Star Wars franchise may never recover, nor will Star Trek or probably even Lord of the Rings. It's not exclusive to Hollywood though. Dr Who drank poison, shot itself and jumped off a bridge too.

Discounting that as a fan of a broken franchise, it's sad to see it in suich a state, it wouldn't even be that much of a problem if a. the studios had good new ideas and b. they focused said ideas towards just-entertaining-the-fucking-audience.

It looks like Disney has really blown it with these smi live action films :(

Just watched The Electric State. This apparently cost over $320M. This was the review I left

"Barely adequate.

Apparently this movie cost $320,000,000. Well they didn't spend it on the story that's for sure.

They did spend some of it on Millie Bobby Brown's immaculate post apocalyptic dystopian hair do. Not a single strand out of place (even when they put some pseudo dirt on her face) throughout the entire film.

Chris Pratt and Millie probably did their best fighting a sub-par script which gave the director no chance of creating an atmosphere of anything but a kids story.

It's a classic case of style over substance. The 'look' so overpowers the production that in the end I ended up watching out of morbid curiosity.

A vaguely adequate film. Nothing much to recommend it unfortunately. That $320 million could have given a multitude of first timer actors, directors and crews their break. What a waste :("

Heh... No, was not intended as such, but might as well be.

The man's "entire" fortune is made of vapor. Hyperloop was just one puff thereof.

Well, this is just unfair, it is! The gays get a month and happy atheists get a measly little day in the middle of nowhere-early-spring?!

NO! The Asmo is Divine. And Terrible and a buncha' other titles. He hereby proclaims this right here to be an Happy Atheist Millennium.

There! It "only just" started too, so there be well over nine centuries of partying left to do. :smilenod:

I do subscribe to most things Musk being a clown show. :smilenod:

I anticipate a major train wreck in his not too distant future... But then, if he is indeed smarter than the average birthday clown, then maybe he got himself into government specifically in order to prevent said train wreck, or at least get ahead of it, because... He can't not see it coming.
