excellent nonetheless.

It's one of my best photos. Pre-digital on Velvia 100 ASA slide and then digitised on a Minolta scanner. The slow speed of the film meant I had to have the lens wide open, hence the shallow depth of field. The lens was a 100mm f2.8 Minolta macro lens. One of the finest lenses ever made. I still have it and it works perfectly with digital sensors.

Today I went 45 minutes north to to Crescent Head with wife and daughter 1.
The tide was coming in so the procedure is float up the creek a couple of hundred metres, walk back and repeat.
