Or September 30th maybe, otherwise known as 'Blasphemy Day'  :D

I did not know that. I like it!

December 25th.

*shrug* Why not, many lay claim to it. ;)

Or have every day a holiday from the winter solstice to the 1st January.

As someone who thinks the more offical holidays the better, I approve of this idea.

Religion for Atheists: 5 Religious Concepts That Atheists Can Use

What do you think?

I'm wondering what Atheist holidays we could add to the calendar...?

For me, "religion for atheist" is viable if you can accept the "religion without gods".  One of many reasons I stay out of the church is that church forces me to accept jesus or god as my savior.  About five years ago, I went to a catholic church because I liked its father.  One of his main themes was to meditate to get rid of anxiety, relieve our inner struggle and pain.  He did not push me to accept God if I couldn't.  Told me to focus on what I could do.  Unfortunately, he left the church because of health problem and I left too.

If the goal of any religious sector is to relieve human sorrow and pain, and find inner peace in individual and social level, rather than blind submission to irrational theology and ideology, I would give it a chance.

What do you think about Church without God?

The article.  Frankly, I think the writer had no idea what he was writing about.

one comment, about education.

Church-style education is exactly the opposite of my ideal pedagogical method.  The very essence of religious education, in my opinion, can be represented by bias, censorship, oppression of free thinking, enforcement and repetition of irrational ideology, etc.  I'd rather take GED.

I got the same thing from judo.

For me, it's called MMORPG. A gathering of cool nerds, whom are probably not religious. Even if they are, we never discuss it! Haha :D

Not that I'm admitting these things I do are poems but would it have helped if I gave it a title?

Yes, yes that does help quite a lot -- tho I feel rather silly now for not having made the connection before.  And I have seen cats show remorse.  Only once, mind you, but I've seen it.  And it is a form of poetry, almost like haiku but with more words.
