In yet another possible scandal over a cover-up of sexual abuse by a high ranking member the RCC is "damned" no matter what the truth.
If Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano is just trying a political ploy to destroy the pope's standing, if it is a lie, that is just as bad as it being the truth and the pope refusing to comment on it.
Whichever side in this has the truth it still indicates that the RCC is not fit to hold the position of power that it does. But, millions are so brainwashed the RCC will be a long time before the "faithful" accept what a basket of snakes they are.
