It started snowing here about 6:30. I set off to work at 6:55. Got 5 miles into a 14 mile journey... and stopped. 30 minutes stationary I turned around. All-in-all it took 2:15 to go 10 miles. By all accounts Leeds is still gridlocked at 10:28. The forcast it 8°C and  that appears to be the case so while it's still snowing it's also thawing!

In one day, I drove from -6°f to 76°f. It was a long drive though.

Today has been pretty nice, with highs in the mid 40s. Sadly it's the last day this nice in the forecast. Of course.

They predicted light rain. We're now seeing heavy snow and the roads are a mess. It isn't even below freezing.

You can have ours if you want! I hate to think of the gridlock in Oklahoma if a sudden snowstorm coated the roads.

Before the winter of 2011, we used to get a good snow every single winter, though. Ever since then, it's been like 1 inch or less every year. Yet in early 2011 it was over a foot in one storm and over 20 inches for the winter total. =/

People around here can handle it.
