I can see both of them fine.  :)

I'm glad you cleared that up cuz now I can't unthink the dirty thought.

I can see the cartoon clearly. It is a scary but frighteningly realistic one. I shudder. Two lunatics with nuclear capacities is not a comforting thought

The one thing that comes to mind with this picture is while the N. Koreans had no choice in who their leader is, and I would guess if given a real actual choice in the matter without fear of reprisal or threats would not only vote him out of power, but probably vote to have him put into the firing line; however. We American's actually chose this ass-hole of a president...seriously how fucking depressing, we are so fucked up here.

...And, we the people, give them those expensive toys to play with. All they do is throw them at each other.  :fingertap:

Whatever. No question in my mind that the French made the right choice.

I don't agree. I think that France has many economical and social problems  that are not going to be solved by another elitarian socialist. This was a kind of "please don't rock the boat" election. We'll see the same thing happen in Germany later this year, where Angela Merkel will again win the election, even though many people think that she made horrendous decisions (like dumping money in Greek's "black hole; shutting down nuclear reactors without an exit strategy and leaving the door wide open to ISIS soldiers and thousands of fortune seeking, uneducated, testosterone driven migrants).

In the same vein, I think that Hillary wouldn't have solved too many problems, but compared to what we've got right now, I'd much prefer a president that didn't do much of anything to current shit show that's ruining the lives of millions of people.

I don't have too much knowledge of French politics, but the economical thing comes up in US politics quite a bit and it's rarely ever not bullshit. Just a cursory glance at how the "economically focused" Republicans shows that they are actually much worse for economics even though many people say that is the reason they vote for them. The closer you look at how "fiscally conservative" the GOP is, the worse it looks. And from here, it looks like the same scenario for the French.

I think that the French made the right decision.

Well at least he is taking global warming serious. For the rest, I think his policies will be quite similar like those of François Hollande (who has the honor of being the most unpopular president in French history).

New cover from the latest issue of "Time Magazine", I suspect Donnie isn't going to like this at all.

And this, this gave me a gentle laugh this morning.
