I agree with the parrot (Whom, by the way, I can barely understand, beyond its heart-felt rage)

Ruin a perfectly good home like that..!  >:(

Ha, that's funny. It brought a little light into this sad day.

My little parrot only swears in the Bengali language, and only at my partner, who was born in Bangladesh. Strangely enough, she never swears at me.

All I hear are the F-bombs it's dropping.  :o I do wonder whether it can also flip the bird.  ;D

A perfectly good home it may be, but it's a cage.  :-\

They are such sweet little animals.  ;D I wish I had one, though I would be half afraid of what it might incorporate into its vocabulary based on what I say! :P

How old is your parrot? I hear they can outlive many other types of pets.

Lulu is a six-year old African Grey and, as typical for that kind of parrot, she is amazingly intelligent. She often responds in a way that makes it clear that she has followed and understood a conversation. That is also a reason to think very carefully before letting one into your life, because it is a huge commitment. Their intelligence means that they need stimulation all the time and they get stressed easily if they think you don't love them. She is always on my shoulder and loves going out with me, especially to the supermarket.

Yeah, I will most probably continue to admire them from afar. Life's too hectic to get a pet that needs constant stimulation and attention. I'll probably just get a goldfish instead.  ;D It's a pity though. I am fascinated by intelligent animals.

Compared to some of those, Lulu is very well-behaved and calm. It's incredible how she is a magnet for women of all ages. I am usually accosted by at least 4 who want to chat to me and want to know everything about Lulu. I would recommend this to any young guy who wants to meet someone. Some are quite hard to shake off and keep following me around.

I have tall parents. My father and brother are around 1.90m tall. I'm taller than my mother but she also has a brother who's almost at 2 meters. In her case it must be the German influence. I don't know where my father gets his height from, though.

But to a parrot any human would be giant, really.

A perfectly good home it may be, but it's a cage.  :-\
But it was The Parrot™'s cage! The Asmo's ratties would have been displeased if He ruined their home like that too... They liked hiding in it, what with being very, very small, and thus in need of some hiding on occasion.

My Lulu only sleeps in her cage, so we call it her bedroom. The rest of the day she wanders about doing whatever she wants, usually something naughty.

Niece Lulu goes wherever there's a computer or tablet or cell phone. If there is at least one those in a cage, she wouldn't complain. If not, then her mother would never hear the end of it.

These birds manage to rule the whole household. My little one isn't very vocal, but occasionally says something amazing. She has a big glass bowl outside where she washes herself, but one day she came inside and said "No water." When we checked, the bath was empty. She was never taught to put those words, that actually meant something, together. Another time when someone said that he felt like having a beer, she looked at him and said "Juice."

I have a picture similar to this that has a side molecule of Silver and Hydrogen off the Oxygen. That molecule is called "Hi-O-Silver on a Ferrous Wheel". It's funnier if you're about my age and watched a TV show called "The Lone Ranger", where his horse (Silver) would rear up and he would say "Hi oh, Silver, awaaaay!" when he was after the black hats (bad guys).

:notsure: Does it have anything to do with the lousy movie of the same name starring Johnny Depp as a Native American?

No, that joke has gray whiskers- probably older than that actor. I think I learned it in '84. I've not seen that remake. Fun fact- my wife is BFF with one of Jay Silverheels' (the original Tonto) daughters. They've known each other since grade school.
