Hello
I've concluded through an unassailable process of logic that I'm newly dead.
As I've never been dead before, that I can recall, I seek guidance from you...
Denizens, I'd go with denizens.
Ye, I seek guidance from ye denizens of this after life forum.
Are there things I should or shouldn't do
Is it possible to gain access to more than the fifteen font colours offered?
Does everything except chicken taste like chicken?
Should I have brought my car like those in that Monty Python skit?
Maybe as newly dead I'm lacking in power, 'cause me Youtube didn't work

I humbly make this offering

How come you can post a pic and not a youtube?
I don't know Green, this afterlife is surely a strange place.
This one looks better.

Can't see it, oh now I see it but it's the same as the other one again.
Try using the YouTube button and inserting your link or just [ youtube ]your-link-here[ /youtube ] tags though without the spaces.
Thusly;
How long before you graduate from newly to grateful?
Two years, 2024 the most, most, most wonderful day in history, ever, the election of Donald for a second term.
Where do you get your hallucinogenics?

I wonder what all the "wrong" places on the Interwebs will look like if he wins... The last time was
spectacular. So much salt - and equally as much salt mining. Turned out to just be "another president," for the most part, albeit with far less of a filter with regard to "just saying shit."
:wormpeek: This is not the deluxe afterlife, so we can consider ourselves lucky to have 15 font colors rather than monochrome.

Turned out to be just "another president" because his narcissistic coup attempt was inept and enlisted goons who didn't manage to succeed.

donald trump manages to encapsulate so much that is wrong with my country into one person.

...and represents the sentiments of a large fraction of our population. Pretty disgusting. Fortunately is is a minority fraction.
im not so sure.
I recall that only ::) 1/4 of the population can be counted on to vote for the chump for what he represents. That's certainly a minority of the population.

I suppose that's for the best, Green would be impossible if he became Sage.

Ye well it might be like Zhou Enlai supposedly saying in the 1970s that it was too soon to judge the ramifications of the French revolution. Trump has lowered standards considerably, a couple of more Trump types doing similar and you're in Handmaid's Tale land.
That could be the case, depending on what you mean by "standards."
In some areas, such as talking like a blue collar guy who gives no fucks, he did. In others - merely brought to the surface that, which was already there, I think.
Of course, I measure Trump's performance by the metric that applies to me an ocean away. Financially, I did quite well during his presidency. I was also entertained by the stupid. More so that coming from his diehard supporters and opponents' camps than from the man himself. I don't have to live with whatever policies he put in place though, and if he doesn't act or sound overly "presidential," well... I wouldn't want a politician for a role model either. I expect pretty much anybody who wants that job to be nasty on some level. Being able to see the nasty from orbit is not a negative in my book.
So yeah. Don't take anything I say as election advice - it is not and I would not give it if I had any beyond that if you are at all interested in the political course of your nation and its and your future, do your research and vote. Vote for whoever suits you - and if no-one does, vote against all, should that be an option.
What I am selling is perspective, in which Trump is neither literally Hitler nor the God Emperor (That meme is Warhammer 40000 reference, by the way. I approve of Warhammer 40K... Not so much of the meme) Unorthodox - yes. A cosmic calamity - no. The shiney-golden-blessed saviour of America - also no.

That would appear to be the case. He's what happens when the American dream becomes the American nightmare.
I think it is "less" than that. He is what happens when luck meets opportunity and they have a drink with a narcissist.

in the big picture, yes.
but where i live, he is god.
And what does he do for them? Worse than nothing, he'll try to take things away, like "entitlements". I don't think many of them know what that word means.
why do people on social security and medicare vote for people who promise to take it away?
if they think at all they just assume the resyricyions are for other people, not them.
I don't have any real idea except that maybe they think that "entitlements" are some sort of socialist scheme, or only used to feed alleged welfare queens? But vote against their own best interests, they do.
The chump can stand there at a rally and say, "...I have the words..." and the crowd gets noisy, and then he says, "...I have the BEST words..." and the crowd goes bonkers. Saw it with my own two eyes, heard it with my own two years. :???:

I myself regularly vote against things from which I personally benefit because I have a moral, ethical or econonomic problem with them.
Just because you have something and want to keep it, does not mean you find it
right, or would see it - or yourself - forced upon others to maintain it.
But then, I'm not sure how representative I am of voters in general.
trump just needs for a 1960 Lincoln Continental convertible to fall out of the sky and land directly on him. It should then catch fire, and burn for several days.
i would love a 1963 suicide lincoln. theyre a cult car theses days. 1963vwas a great year in so many ways
or one of the pan american race cars
Were those the ones with the doors opening against each other? I think I saw them restore one on the Rust Valley show. Seemed a properly cool classic land yacht.
yes.
if you opened a back door with the vehicle in motion it turned into air brakes as in aeronautics.

but the hot rod lincolns in the pan american races 10 years earlier wer the best looking
(https://i.imgur.com/D8J7vaFl.jpg)
they would wear out the front tires, and the mechanic riding shotgun would inspect the tread with a timing light through a hole in the floor.
when the mechanic announced
no tread! no tread!
it was time to pit
2000 miles of dirt roads acrpss mexico, average speed over 90 mph
Hey, what are all these cars doing in the afterlife?
Probably Americans
Ye, that'd be it.
It could have been an English voice suggesting they take the cars.
That point interferes with my racial stereotyping, so I'm just going to ignore it.
doesnt have to be cars

Petty scoot Billy. But it is sacrilege to have blue paint on an old Norton.

they did mine in what they called roman purple

No, you don't seem to understand the rules.
A motorcycle is certainly a way to the afterlife but it isn't allowed in.
It's like a ship taking you across the sea, it doesn't get to crawl out on the other side.
Leather jackets aren't allowed either, it's gently wafting diaphanous robes only.
You're supposed to leave your bike behind for your red haired girlfriend to ride, everyone should know that.
how can it be that i have never heard that?
Oh, says Red Molly to James, "That's a fine motorbike
A girl could feel special on any such like"
Says James to Red Molly, "My hat's off to you
It's a Vincent Black Lightning, 1952
And I've seen you at the corners and cafes, it seems
Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme"
And he pulled her on behind
And down to Boxhill that they did ride
