Since we have a parenting section, I'm creating a Camp Quest thread.

To start out the thread, I would like to beg for donations/attendance for Camp Quest Texas Fundraisers:

We are having a Fundraiser Dinner/Raffle/Silent Auction on December 10, 2009 in the Dallas area (full details here --> http://campquesttexas.org/register )  The restaurant, Al-Amir, is donating 10% of the total bill to Camp Quest Texas.  So, if you live in the area, enjoy great food, belly dancers, and helping out a great cause....please sign up today (seating is limited).

If you live outside the area but want to help us get the first week long Camp Quest Texas going strong, we are set up to accept Pay Pal donations on the website: http://campquesttexas.org/donate

I am really interested in Camp Quest.  If the money is there for us this summer I will probably be sending Issac.  I will probably not be the TX location, even though it is tempting since we have family in the Dallas area.

I really hope there is a camp quest near my area in 5 years for my daughter.

I'd send her to the one in Ontario if I had too.

Do you know how great the other camps are? Do you talk with other areas or are they all independent of one another? We live in northern michigan...texas is far away!

Don't we all love Mark Twain?

There is one in your state:  http://michigan.camp-quest.org/

We talk with each other but they are operated independently.
