When I think about the ultimate fate of the universe.
I think about the possibility of a new big bang identical to the one we had.
If that happens. Does it means we will back and have an identical life with a score of 100% ?
If that happens. Will we have a conscience composed of the same atoms or it will be another us because it would be like a double in a parallel universe.

If the new big bang will create a parallel universe with a double of us ?

Do we live in a simulation ? I don't think so but why not. Maybe the universe is a simulation that is long to run (Calculate the time between big bang and now) at our scale but short for those who are using simulation. Maybe 1 billion year correspond to 1 hour , less or more for those who play with us if we are in a simulation.
How can we be sure we were alive 1 minute ago or if this is not an illusion created by a simulation or a division of an universe in the multiverse ? I think I was really there but ....

I haven't given a lot of thought to all your questions, but the easy answer is, no one knows for sure. So far most answers would be theory or speculation. The present universe that we're in is between 14 and 16 billion years in time.
From my perspective there can be only one universe. What is normally thought to be another universe  is only another glob of material in another place relative to this one. The two globs together no matter the distance will be a universe with two globs.
There cannot be a "parallel" universe in the terms you cite, that is, each as a replica of the other. Another big bang (not an accurate description of process)  ( but it will do as a starter) will produce a material site at a different place (relative to this place)but it won't be a replica of this one. It will have the same components (materials) but not in the same symmetry.
It's unlikely that we are in a simulation, what we have is what there is, there's no better place to be then here.
Time is the agreement we make among ourselves that one rotation of the planet equals one day. But, there can be 48 hours in the day if we want there to be, and the hours (each) would be 1/2 as long as they are present. Other planets have a different time day. We can't change the number of days in the year because that,s the orbital days of the planet, unless we make two days in what we have as one now except one day is dark and the other light. It's a matter of agreement between peoples.
The universe has no time as all places have different happenings that can be used (by us) to determine a time. Star
Trek has universal time which is calculated to start when the big bang happened.
The ultimate fate of the universe seems to be when all matter has returned to it's original form which is thought to be "energy".
The big bang is one theory, there are others.
The only thing possible the world needs saving from are the ones running it.
Oh lord, save us from those wanting to save us.
I'm not a Theist.

I don't think there will be another big bang at least not in this universe. Entropy will eventually kill it.
Other universes I think are speculation because there is no way that we know of having access to it.

Have you read about Boltzmann's Brain?

The basics of it are that the universe has many phases from almost complete entropy to highly ordered. Because even in completely chaotic systems order spontaneously erupts from time to time. So what is more likely, that you're a brain that is hallucinating, or that you're in the complex universe that you're perceiving?

The phases of entropy idea is what really interests me about it. Once this universe experiences heat death and has completely succumbed to entropy, after a "time" order will spontaneously pop up. Not always the same amount of order as our current universe. Then that amount of order will eventually fall into chaos and the next phase of order will begin.

I don't think a consciousness can survive that process though.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

If we were living in a simulation. Are we in a full or partial reproduction of a world that already existed or a fiction ?
