Dark Lightning

That scene is from when the Duke Leto bites into the cyanide-laced tooth Doctor Yueh implanted in an effort to bring the Baron down. It's in the book.

i remember the scene in the book. piter de vries dies from inhaling the gas at the same time as leto.

need to see it again.

im still impressed by the paleo-venetian-style architecture and household props in the motion picture.

and jose ferrer was spectacularly well-cast!

The film is one of the few I have watched maybe a dozen times.

I feel like watching it again. I've only seen it once, about some 10 years or so ago.

Timothée Chalamet is quite easy on the eye. I liked him in Call Me By Your Name.

:sad sigh: That trailer is fake. Whoever created it took footage from a number of films and mashed them together.

He's definitely been a rising star lately. I liked him in Netflix's The King:

Oh yes. I recognised scenes from the Mad Max reboot, The Chronicles of Riddick and even Gladiator. Possibly the low quality scenes of the desert dunes in the beginning are from an older film, such as Lawrence of Arabia or even the original Dune itself, not sure as it's been a really long time since I've watched either and don't remember the details. There are even a couple of weird takes of Timothée Chalamet that seem to be interview footage.

I gave the video a thumbs down in frustration.

:oooh-me!: Also, the music is from Blade Runner 2049.

I guess. I don't generally mind fan-made trailers, it's just annoying when the creators omit that fact in order to get people clicking on their video and so profit from misleading them.
