Recently published Godless: the Church of Liberalism restates and inflates old shop-worn charges, long since refuted repeatedly, against evolution in two bizarre chapters. Media Matters for America (http://mediamatters.org/) does a great job here (http://mediamatters.org/items/200607070010) of explaining in detail just how off base Coulter and ID in general are.

Personally I don't care for Ann Coulter and have never read her books nor do I care to. Excluding the ID discussion, I do think it's somewhat humorous to ask Media Matters what their perspective on Ann Coulter is. Kinda like asking Rush Limbaugh what his unbiased opinion is of Helen Thomas, gee, I wonder what he's gonna say.

Just got here. EEEeeeough, some of the first page remarks were not too evolved, glad i don't hafta hang out with a few of you guys, (hey i have always agreed AnnCoulter should be killed, she doesn't get so much air time lately, THANK GOD, but a 1 or 2 of you guys got a pathetic homophobic, misogynist edge there...why?, not getting dates? after re-reading the thread, it's not misogyny. It's equality. If you want it, equality that is, you need to be able to take the, sometimes, horrid criticism we give men we don't like without playing the "misogyny card". I disagree. And women are not a 'minority', we are over 50% of the population. We do share an oppressive history with minorities, though.

I couldn't disagree more. Women have had to speak up for equality, and putting up with or tolerating sexism does NOT foster equal rights. ??? Thank GAWD (ha ha), there have been brave women throughout history(many have died in this effort) to try to educate those who want to value women only for their looks or oppress them, to try to inform those who do big and small things to keep some level of ignorance going.
