The health care organization that I work for has indicated that it is scheduled to receive thousands of doses of the Pfizer vaccine on December 15, with initial plans to start administering it on December 16. This, of course, is subject to regulatory approval in the interim (which seems likely) and watching how the UK does on its first use of it.  It would be used first for front line workers and those most vulnerable.  I probably won't get it until the spring, since I don't treat patients. This is a positive and hopeful step - hope everything falls into place. My organization has been getting ready for this for months. I'm actually pleased with our leadership.

If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

'It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. That is true, it's called Life.' - Terry Pratchett
Remember, your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it.

Excellent! I'm glad to see we are moving forward on this.
