:( Well, my crystal ball was right about that one...

The tight-shirted Uruguayans are playing very well I think, it seemed like practically all of them followed the ball from one side of the field to the other, did not let Cristiano Ronaldo play and even though the Portuguese were in possession of the ball for most of the time, they were unable to score more goals and win.

England should be able to win from their next opponent (Sweden).
FYI my two favourite teams are Belgium and England.

I think so too, though I wonder if the game will end up going into extra time and penalties like the last one. :P

Belgium is very aggressive - many shots on goal. Doesn't look good for Brazil.  They are down 2-0 at half.

Sorry Silver, Belgium 2, Brazil 1.  Belgium advances.

Ok, I've processed the information and overcome my brief period of grief. Brazil's out.  :'(

I think, while Brazil has the superior team, the last match was a disaster. Of all the attempted goals only one got in, and Belgium's counter-attack was quick. Besides that, they shut down some of the best players, effectively keeping them from doing their thing. It didn't help that it seemed like Neymar was more preoccupied with not busting his ankle than playing -- probably the wise long-term decision.

I'm still repressing memories of the goal against (Belgium's first goal wasn't scored by of their own). No comment.
