Yet another joins the crowd

Hey everyone,

I'm Matt Parsons, as you surely have surmised from my name.  I'm an atheist since my preteen years, when I shed belief in religion along with other childhood myths.  Much to my parent's dismay, who fully hoped I'd retain the preferred beliefs.  A story I'm sure you've all heard or lived.

A little about myself, I'm currently attending the University of Georgia with the intention of going to pharmacy school.  I'm a musician and composer, primarily writing symphonic melodic metal as well as neoclassical/modern symphonic music.  I love reading about science of any variety, and I enjoy a good debate, either genuine or playing Devil's Advocate.  

I was drawn here by the Atheist Image Dump...  This place seemed like it had a good sense of humor, so I jumped on board.  

Anyway, I'll lurk around a bit before posting too much.  Thanks for setting up a forum like this!
