I am having trubs getting images from Imgur to link, so I will clutter this thread up with my attempts!
Existing image that would not load on other thread, direct from Imgur:

Note the "/a" which does not appear in the link to the other image link -

But if you delete the "/a" it says the image not longer exists.
Time for tea and more looking at later.

The link also contains the "/a", tried changing it b, x, y, z . . . and nothing at all appears. Tried leaving the .jpg off, changing it to.png - nuffink.
Hermes, if you gave Imgur your data please load a new picture in this thread and post the link, with the comma or (.), if it works.

That's via Phitobucket but you have to confirm your email at every step or pay at least $4/month.
When you copy the link in Imgur, do you choose the BBCode option (second one from the bottom)?

I am doing it as I have always done, remember this is on an Android tablet:
Click on image - sellect "Share" icon
Select Imgur
Select "Hidden" then "Upload"
Select "View" then "Share"
Select "Clipboard"
Enter link in post - adding ".jpg"
Highlight and select the image code icon
Check in "Preview"
Post if OK
Sounds bloody complex written out, but its like playing a piano, you don't have to think about what your hands are doing - muscle memory.
The problem with Photobucket was that I had not yet received, and replied to, the confirmatory email. Now I have done that there is less hassle.
I am on a PC, so it's not as complicated.

Actually photobucket has a few less clicks and a better selection of types of link.
Seems the /a denotes something in an album according to the helpdesk, not shareable. Except I have no albums . . . And I have not changed my key clicks for a year. Oh, except when they dropped the file type suffix so I had to add that. Over 6 months agoish.
