There was some article I read yesterday about a group of Republicans for Biden. I can't find it now but apparently it's more widespread than I thought.

:yes!: I haven't voted (R) in a long time, but only just changed my voter registration last year when I renewed my driver's license. The (R) party just disgusts me, TBH.

I found the article I was looking for.

An interesting read. I have wondered how many of those GOPers who have enabled the orange shitgibbon manage to not realise that in the long term they are condemning themselves to the rubbish bin of history.  Trump will not be there forever, and as if it needs saying, if he continues to incite the the deplorables to act out their their bigotry the point will come when the reaction of the oppressed people will become overwhelming.  I am not at all sure we have not already reached that point.

It just defies belief that that many (R) politicos are kissing the chump's ass. The only explanation I can think of is that he's an old-time Mafioso and has blackmail dirt on them.

ETA- I just can't believe that these folks want the chaos that is being created. Then again, I can quote Steve Bannon, who claimed, "I'm an admitted Leninist".

Apparently there are a few such groups (hurrah): the group mentioned in the article you linked to, Defending Democracy Together; Republicans for the Rule of Law; and the Lincoln Project.

I know of people who vote republican regardless of who's running. I don't know if they follow their candidate to see the mess he's caused however. Surely they aren't living under a rock.

I know people like that. They call the Democrats "liberals" and equate them to socialists and communists in one breath. How their brain doesn't roll out of one ear when they tilt their heads still mystifies me.

Senator Mitt Romney, former President George W. Bush, and former Secretary of State Colin Powell have all stated they will support Biden instead of their party's nominee, Trump.  Biden is now getting over 50% in some polls.  Hope the trend continues.

While there are still some reasonable Republicans left in the cesspool of Trumpublicans that have overtaken the party, I'm surprised to see that W is among them. He and Cheney ran such a corrupt administration that I would've bet money that Trump was his kind of guy.

I'm waiting for the movie of my life to be made.  It should cost about $7.23 and that includes the budget for special effects.

George W. Bush, Cheney and Tony Blair are war criminals. They belong in jail.
