Eh... The times are "always" interesting. Ice ages, bubonic plagues, spreading deserts, rising sea levels, mass migration, mass war and starvation which may or may not be due to said mass migration... That one meteor what made The Asmo be a mammal rather than one of them Reptilian Overlords...
...When is it ever just "boring" over even a single lifespan? Something somewhere is always out to kill people. The Universe. It is indeed not designed with the well-being of fleshy things in mind.
