Is there any way of getting beyond good and evil to absolute freedom? And what would absolute freedom look like? I suppose ethically absolute freedom would mean some kind of anarchy. But, politically, I'm a socialist. I believe absolute freedom would be kinder than what we have now which is chaos within order.

As I understand it a person wouldn't be able to get beyond good and evil. All are surrounded by both outwardly and inwardly. To get beyond would be the same as getting beyond one's self. Both are the consequences of life itself. We cannot exist without both. Much of the good we encounter originates from evil as good can be (or is) a consequence of evil. Business is an example-- one must give up something (Money from labor -hardship- an evil) in order to get something, a good (a product of the labors of another)

I have thought for a while that war is evil but conceived by love, the ultimate good.

Absolute freedom is really a mind thing, not a social reality.

As the narcissist bishop said to the incredulous actress.
"Religion is fundamentally opposed to everything I hold in veneration — courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and above all, love of the truth."

"Absolute" freedom would be a society of one. You could not sustainably interact with another conscious creature and maintain it. Even a cat would do its utmost to inflict upon you some unfortunate consequences for claiming your right to drag it by the tail.

Every person is a set of psychological facts. Psychiatry is the study and analytics of person (those facts) not the physical. The physical is the median of action and contact between persons.

I am starting to get a better picture of you, Old Seer.
