singapore.

you know, whenever i see high-culture stuff with a singapore date line i think about how much that part of the world has changed. i remember singapore when the british still cruised in the streets in armoured vehicles and the tree across from my house on grange road was near ten foot thick at the base. in the daytime the samsui women still worked construction, although by that time they were all elderly.

my mother once encountered an elderly woman in the cold storage grocery store with bound feet. that's going way back.

life moves on.

That's a nice performance.

I am cursed with a brain that always finds connections — I guess inspired by my hero Charles Eames. Vivaldi was known as the Red Priest, because of his red hair.

This is one of my favorite musical groups. They are spectacular with anything that they do.  I have a secret crush on Sierra Bogess. She is first featured at about five minutes.

She must be a prodigy either that or she's been committed to the piano since birth.
