I've been washing my hands so frequently these past few days the skin is dry and cracked near the knuckles on my left hand. It feels like I've got a lot of paper cuts.

Guess I should probably be using some moisturizer but I always end up overdoing it and flinging some all over the place with every hand movement.

Well, today was better than the last time. I went by car to a supermarket a little farther away, so I wasn't a sweaty loud-breather who couldn't tame her stray hairs. But -- and there's always a but -- in my stupidity I was chewing some strong mint bubblegum and didn't spit it out before putting the mask on.

So, my sister comes along with me and she wants to muffled talk to me through her mask all throughout. I open my mouth to talk to her as well and all that strong mint breath is directed my the mask right into my eyes. For some reason I thought it would go straight through the fabric as if I weren't wearing any mask, but non, it flows upward right into my teary eyes. OK, hopefully I've used up my stupidity-for-the-day quota.

I look for a trash bin so I can spit the gum out but of course, there are none to be found. I didn't bring any tissue paper or plastic or paper bag along with me either.

So I bear it.

"Do you think we should get some milk?", sister asks.

"What?"
