I guess I've finally met the people my guidance counselor warned me about.

Yes, that's us.

Looks like a member of the team I bat for.

Of course. I know it will come as a shock to hear that I am human, notwithstanding rumours to the contrary spread by some ex lovers.

X factors can be myopic. Therefore, untrustworthy.

Rumours to the contrary from ex-lovers could be a good thing, like oh "Hermes", you were so "Other-Wordly" last night or, "You were like some weird "Sexy Alien" with three hands!"

Remember the movie "Michael" with John Travolta who portrays the smoking, and drinking Archangel who gives off an irresistible fragrance that is described as smelling like cookies and caramel, and wherever he goes, women instinctively cluster around him like bees to honey?

Yes, I do. The funny thing is that years ago I had a friend who was desperate to meet s lover, while, at that time, my biggest ambition was to remain single. He used to beg me to go with him to clubs until I would give in reluctantly. I just wanted to stay home, happily uninvolved, and listening to my music. Sure enough, guess who attracted the boys like bees to honey, as you said, and who ended up not sleeping alone? He used throw a temper tantrum the next day when I complained about not being able to get rid of the latest one night stand. He invariably had to make do with Mrs Palm and her five daughters. I think his desperation showed too much, which put everyone off him.

Track still predicted to run up the west coast, can't remember which side Icarus is on. But the thing is so wide no-one on the peninsula will get away without problems it seems.
