I'm a bit of a car (and Top Gear TV) fan, and seeing as how I've contributed to posts like these on other forums, I thought about setting up a post here.

Post your favourite car (or the car you would love to own), and the reasons why.

For me, it would have to be the Aston Martin DBS.

Reasons why:

A classic modern-day GT car that's at home in Monaco as it is in the UK
Super-cool with the essence of James Bond built into everything.
An Aston Martin, one of the world's most classic marques.

anything huge. The more huge it is the more I love it. But because I have the environment virus I drive a small prius

No contest. At all.

Reasons why:

  • Fits nearly anywhere.
  • Veritable chick magnet.
  • Sensible gas mileage.

I mean, just look at that thing! It's a total pimp-mobile!

fave mode of transport:

(need two of 'em, and there are a few minor side-effects...)

I'm a Toyota fan.  Had 2 Tercels (name for a male falcon), and currently have a kickin' Rav4 (name for, uh, marketing)

Tanker

This is the only way to travel. It only gets abot 1.5 gallons to the mile (yes that's right) But it's got 1500 ponnies. There is NOTHING like the feeling of power and freedom when riding in the hatch of a tank.

I've been in fox holes, I'm still an atheist -Me-

God is a cake, and we all know what the cake is.

(my spelling, grammer, and punctuation suck, I know, but regardless of how much I read they haven't improved much since grade school. It's actually a bit of a family joke.

I mostly travel by limousine.

Reasons I prefer limousines:
They're bigger than most cars on the road.
24" rims!
They attract women.
I can read or use my laptop as I am driven from place to place.
They're inexpensive.
I don't have to park them.
I don't have to maintain them.
No need for insurance.
I can use them while drunk.

I made some minor adjustments to mine:

I dunno. This one may be better:

I really enjoy the train. My family and I usually go down to Disney for a week or so and we not really crazy about flying. We get rooms on the train so we can sleep and talk, then we go to the dining car for dinner. It may take about 17 hours, but it's a great time.

If I had to pick my favorite car...it would be the Lincoln MKZ: http://www.car.com/images/2007/Lincoln/ ... MKZ_20.jpg
