Right now I'm listening to songs that seem fitting for Halloween.

Right now it's "Twilight is Possessed!" from an EP called "Ponies are Evil!", by Dr. Dissonance.

(No, not the vampire series Twilight. Twilight as in this Twilight: http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Twilight_Sparkle )

Classic FM Radio.

Right now there's a Piano Concertino by Johann Peter Pixis (Eb major Opus 68).

I had never heard of it or Pixis before, but it's rather nice.

Godsmack - I fucking hate you.

I'm just in one of those moods... and I'm in the office alone so I can listen to whatever I like, loud.

Ah, I like that song.
I feel that way about 75% of the time.

Prayers that need no answer now, cause I'm tired of who I am
You were my greatest mistake, I fell in love with your sin
Your littlest sin.

Simon & Garfunkel - America. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO3gWIGzH3A

"Kathy, I'm lost" I said, though I knew she was sleeping
"I'm empty and aching and I don't know why..."
Counting the cars on the New Jersey turnpike
They've all gone to look for America

I don't know why, exactly, but I really like this verse.

"Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb we are bound to others. By every crime and act of kindness we birth our future." - Cloud Atlas

"To live in the hearts of those we leave behind is to never die." -Carl Sagan

S&G were a wonderful combination. Saw them live at Wembley many years ago, they were excellent.

More subdued today, I'm currently on Grand Central (K-Pax soundtrack) by Edward Shearmur. Not so much melancholic as moody. Love it.

Wow, amazing that you saw them! I love their music. I grew up on it. That and Moody Blues, Herman's Hermits, Mamas and the Papas, Beach Boys, Bread and other similar great stuff. I have a deep abiding fondness for all this stuff.

I'm doing coursework accompanied by 'Offspring's 50 Rock videos you must download on Kerrang TV.

Number 50 is Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch.

For the rest of the day I will now have the lyrics

"You and me baby ain't nothin' but mammals
So let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel" in my head. Oh dear.
