Yes please. I'm on an Ellie Goulding kick now. Forgot how much I liked her voice.

Sometimes I wonder if songwriters speak to common human experiences as much as they sometimes seem to, or if it's more like reading a message in tea leaves.

Good stuff, thank you.

I have more, but a lot of it has been posted before.

Got a lot of film and game music that's very good in its own right, among other things... Ennio Morricone, Nobuo Uematsu... That kind of crowd. Also, a lot of more anonymous composers.

The two vids available in my country were very nice indeed.

I went into Tesco the other day, the Christmas music got on my tits so I put my basket down and walked out.

I do like select songs, and I enjoy them in appropriate settings, it's when EVERY station is playing nothing but Christmas music 24/7, and like the rest of the year, they're all on a rotation of the same 15 damn songs.  Only now it's not like I can switch genre for some variation.  Someone less stable is going to snap and kill Mariah Carey, and we'll have no one but Clear Channel to blame.

I've got CDs in my car, but seeing how I am in a store now, it's bring Christmas CDs to listen to on repeat, or put up with the radio.

Just think of it as a helpful money-saving motivator that'll get you in and out fast.

Personally I wear headphones when I'm out shopping by myself.

Why don't people in charge of public places understand that one man's musical meat is another man's musical poison?

I so symathise with you Pasta Chick - it's bad enough for the shoppers, but having to work in a place with tannoy music that you don't like must be a form of torture.
