They are both beautiful shots, I like #2 best, though.  Don't knock the i-phone, the results are fine.

Some folks have been kind enough to say I'm lucky living in Britain where there's all that architecture to photograph, but I wish I could get a crack at some of your American scenery.

You're from PA, right Steeler? Did they ever catch that bunch that was stealing bridges a few years ago? Or was that Idaho? ??? I can't remember, but it seems very odd that Pennsylvania and Idaho would be confused in my head.

Piece by piece. The scrap value of quality steel is quite high. it's one of the reason I have spent quite a few nights patrolling construction sites.

Yup. Especially with older stuff that might not be watched too carefully. There were a few guys who painted their truck like the power company's some years ago so they could start stealing old telegraph wire without disturbance along the 460 section of the Norfolk Southern Railroad. They managed to get a few miles worth before anyone noticed!
