True story for you: an old professor of mine was in England, and she got invited to a dinner party. Atkinson was there... and instead of joking around like she assumed he would, he stunned her by talking about all kinds of academic subjects, everything from English literature to science to history. She was just amazed. He's smart as a whip. :)

I remember reading somewhere that ATkinson hated his role as Mr. Bean because he was too goofy/stupid

Hmm, possibly. Although I do enjoy Mr. Bean, I LOVE Atkinson in his other stuff -- Thin Blue Line and Blackadder, especially. Also, his stand-up comedy is just awesome.

That being said, I only take issue with the stuff adults put out online. Not kids. Once he hits college or university, he may very well change, as many kids do. No sense picking on him, eh?
