Nice sunny morning today. Walked over to Costa for a coffee. Read my book. Went shopping. Back home by 7:45. Now what to with the rest of my day?

That sounds lovely. I should try to follow your example now and then; I never seem to be at a loose end and the days are too short.

I live just 15 minutes from the Costa and pass the supermarket to get there so it gets me out the house.

...So I am officially no longer a couch tater. That blood plasma nonsense they did to my shoulder arthrosis has paid dividends, it seems, and now I fit into the pants I wore as teenager. (Not literally the same pants, but the same 34/32 size) all because not having a literal migrain in my shoulder by lunchtime means that I can do stuff like take a ridiculously long walk up a ridiculously steep hill on semi-daily basis.

It's remarkable what physical activity does to the shape of a person's ass. :smilenod:

More stuff about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP).  The text says that most of the junk is from the fishing industry. Not what I expected at all.

The Magic Pudding..

I'm finding the use of the word "entitled" a bit annoying lately.
I'm resorting to the  AI overview  :o

The pot calling the kettle black" means someone is criticizing another person for a fault they themselves possess
