A fine tea mug.  :thumbsup2:

The British mains socket in the background sells the photo for me.

Yes, our electrical oddity. When I was a kid there were still a few round pin triple plug/sockets to be found. My dad used to sell electrical goods for a while when I was young. It was my job to put the plugs on (no moulded leads in those days) his travel samples. I was about 11 onwards. One day at school we got a new TV for the class with no plug. The teacher didn't know how to wire it so let me do it. Can you imagine if that happened today?! I must say the UK mains plug has its benefits but wiring one is a bloody faff!
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

Is it common in the UK to not have recessed sockets? "All" our wall sockets here are recessed. (Some special use or great age exceptions may exist) It's supposed to make it harder to electrocute oneself-self due to unawareness, stupidity, very young age or a combination thereof. Also, holds the plug in nice and tight-like. :smilenod:

...So how do you keep children and other-such-like from applying tea to the inside of them?! :headscratch:

I mean, I suppose you could just cane the children regularly until they learn, and if they still do not, then they deserve a occasional shock. :smilenod:

...Also, wait an bloody second! Them there right over there *point* C7 plugs on them british shavers aren't even C7 plugs!? I didn't know that. Cool! I think the British ones would be compatible with mainland sockets though, no?

Do not walk your dog near a cow pasture. see below.........

Most of us think of cows as gentle beasts and they are harmless most of the time. But not all of the time.

Asmodean

Having worked with cows in my misspent youth, I can attest to the above. Especially a cow with calf can be dangerous to the uninitiated.

Yes, the vast majority of encounters may go just fine. Cows are curious and usually friendly in their interactions with humans. There is "always" that one cow in the herd though, with murder on its mind, who spends its time sharpening the horns and planning attack vectors. :smilenod:

The Magic Pudding..

I'm sure we're all aware of the forum's Markusian layer, laid down in a brief turbulent period of heightened activity.
I was wondering about associated extinction events.
I think No one was one but I'm not sure about Bluenose, he didn't actually die did he?

This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything."

Is this... A garden gnome? And where can a garden-decorading The Asmo order enough for His own version of the Terracotta Army? :thoughtful:

This is The Trilogy of Terror, skip the first two, go to 46:00 and the proper, natural order of things will be revealed.

I watched the foyst episode of The Penguin on Max. It was refreshingly great. A mobster series in Batman universe. Might resurrect my The Watchful Asmo series and write a proper review. Other than that - I recpommend if you enjoy gritty mob series.

Watched the Vance-Walz debate. Surprisingly good for the current year. :smilenod:

Whoda' thunk... I was positively surprised by what was on my TV screen twice in one week.
