I am sorry to hear of your loss, JJ.   My condolences for having lost a true friend.

There were lots of times over the last fifteen years that he was my only friend. If it wasn't for him I literally would not be here today. And now, every time I move around the house I expect to hear him sit up from his spot. I look at his bowl, his blanket. Walk in the house and it's empty. I really hate this.

I had to put my dog down yesterday. Lots of tears.

I know that feeling  :'(

I'm off on a short 'holiday' for the first time in nearly 2 years. Nothing special, a trip to a Centre Parc about an hours drive away. Most of the family and all the grandchildren will be there. And the dogs come too! :)

Spend all the time you can travelling with those you love. Nobody ever said, on their deathbed, "I wish I had spent more time at the office, or the factory, or working wherever."  Get out, see the world, enjoy!!!!!

Have a good time and don't go anything I would do.
