^ I had a shit upbringing with a lot of what is in that imgur pic. I'm proud to say that my children are nothing like that shit, and I didn't have to beat them for them to grow up into decent citizens. I got beat a lot as a kid, and I swore that I'd never do that, and I didn't.

Yeah... It's not even that for me, really. It's how neither of them could manage to lie on point even for one minute. Well, Biden struggled to construct coherent sentences, so there is one reason, but still. Trump... Spoke more to his base than to the undecided/unaffiliated, but it must be said that it worked for him.

Oh, there were some luke-warm moments, but disappointingly far between.

I was headed to my job supporting a missile defense program when the first plane hit. When the second one hit, I knew what it meant. BUT, I think that what is happening this election cycle is at least one order of magnitude worse. Now, the terrorists are already here, and they are legion.

Then that day at school, we were given an assignment to write down our thoughts about the attack and other such matters. Certainly, though I was talking about my teacher for some mysterious reason asking for my knee-jerk reaction. Why would you ever want that? It's garbage!

And even if I had the proper time to react and research, I'd likely come up with exactly the answer Bush administration eventually did; "bomb something." Oh, there may have been variations on what and how, but something would end up a lunar landscape.

I think you are spot on with the puppeteer comment. Too many people have too much at stake to back up now and that will just hand Trump the presidency.
